Im applying to Vandy too! I think i may to early decision 2 though. We have almost identical test scores and curriculums. Sounds to me like you have a pretty good chance!! Good luck!

I think your ACT is right where it needs to be, your GPA might be a bit low, and your ECs are very unique. you should have a decent chance, chance back please!

-President/VP isn’t really an EC…
-No success in mock trial? Seen as a filler on app if you haven’t shown any passion.
-Same with math team/club for kids with cancer…
-We have no clue what euro challenge is…
-There we go, some success with a school activity (X-country)
-We don’t care about weighted GPA. I know the higher number may make you feel good or whatever, but nobody cares.
-I hope you took most rigorous classload
-Only 1 subject test? You are hiding something you did badly on (or at least that’s the way colleges will see it)
-Your ACTs are good enough to get your foot in at any college, including ivy leagues.

well mock trial i was named best lawyer in the county competition which is on my resume and there really arent any other awards you can win…
and im taking three subject tests in december i just wasnt allowed to take more than one because i had a track meet that day

That is your decisions and colleges won’t see that as an excuse. As a student applying to college, I would have told my coach to **** off if I were in your position.
