An ACT score of 30, while quite good, isn’t very competitive for Swartmore. You at about 35%, so 65% of accepted students will have higher.

Your GPA doesn’t tell me much. Are those AP IB or Honors classes? If so, a 3.2 would not be horrendous.

Overall, from what you’ve given me, I would say you have an average chance of getting in ED. I would call it a reach, but having an interview will certainly help you!! Just keep showing interest and know everything eventually works out.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve taken 6 AP/Honors courses and I am looking at Skidmore not Swathmore. I know I don’t have a chance at getting into Swathmore. For Skidmore I believe my ACT is in the 75th percentile. I hope that is good enough to get into Skidmore since it is my first choice.

Whoops! It was too late for me to have been thinking last night!

Anyway, Skidmore! Yes, your ACT is about 75% percentile, so it’s very competitive.

A 3.2 with all those honors is also quite good. This probably isn’t going to be a boost, but I can’t see it hurting you either.

All in all, the school is a match for you. With early decision, you should have no trouble getting in.

Thanks!! Anyone else??

Please can I get more chances
