****Obviously, my stats are not spectacular, and I'm highly unlikely to get into top schools because of my lackluster academic/ extracurricular performance so far. But in truth, I feel that I have matured throughout high school, and through my experience working with lower-income kids and trying to teach them to enjoy education and learn I have learned myself the value of education--it is not just another "mandatory" qualification for success and a source of pride, it is the chance to improve oneself to become much greater. (sounds really corny but I REALLY feel this way ;x)

if you are an american asian, penn is a reach. but if you’re international… BUT then again, everyone has a chance. if your essays are spectacular and if you have a hook, no one can really chance you

You are academically qualified, but you will need to dazzle them with your essays etc

bumppppppppppppp

I don’t see you getting into the CAS, definitely not into Wharton, but you have a decent shot into the SEAS.

If you want to game the system then apply to the SEAS. At the same time…you’re not much of an engineer

Best of luck but here’s my advice to you. Apply to as many schools as you humanly can. I mean 25, no, 30 schools. Whichever Ivies and top schools you find fitting even to some extent, that you can see yourself.
That’s how you’ll find success, you’ll get into one of two of these top schools, and then, it’ll be about choosing which one fits better.

But trust me, apply and apply often. Or you’ll end the Admissions Game with regrets of what could have happened.

Best of luck

^…
