I think it's also important to mention that there's a glaring C in my transcript next to my AP Calculus BC course grade that will probably affect my already low chances. Any comment will be appreciated.

It probably depends on your recommendations and essays IMHO. Your SAT scores are great but your grades are not as good, which makes them wonder if there’s a very competitive high school or a tad of laziness or if family circumstances (i.e. raising a sibling while parents away at work) or a job interfering with school.

ED would certainly increase your chances.

As sandpit said, SAT’s are good but GPA a bit low. I say 60/40 chance of getting in. Good Luck !!!

How’s the weighting done at your school? Why do you have only a .16 increase in WGPA if you’ve taken so many APs?

What are your senior year courses?

AP and honors classes are weighted .333
The AP courses I’m taking senior year are: Stat, Phys C, and Macro.
Also taking Multivariable Calc. for math

Thanks for all the replies so far!

i’d say 50/50…your grades are kinda low…but your ECs and SATs show your strength in math and science…

i was just barely in the top 20% of class in a fairly blue collar, almost slightly white trash high school…but i got an 800 on my math SAT and won the AMC 12 in my grade…took AP classes (kinda similar to you)…and got in…this was back in 2004…

Why does his post say

? Who’s chedva?

I requested for something to be removed.
