<p>I am interested in Electrical Engineering or computer engineering as a major</p>
<p>UC GPA-- UW= 3.5 , W=3.8</p>
<p>Not good grades in Freshman and sophmore years, but straight A's in Junior year. Junior year GPA - 4.5</p>
<p>AP classes - Physics, Computer science, Statistics, Honors Pre calc</p>
<p>Currently taking College Calc 1 during senior year which is direct college credit</p>
<p>ACT 32
SAT Math 760, CR 630, Writing 620. will take it one more time
SAT II -- Math 780, Physics 710</p>
<p>EC: Karate ( 8+ yrs, brown belt -- will be Black belt soon)
Scouts ( 10+yrs -- Eagle scout now)
Other Misc clubs in school but nothing serious
Represented Junior high school in Math competition
Represented High school in Computer programming competition -- 3rd place among<br>
CA schools;</p>
<p>What are my chances at -- UCSB, UCLA, UCSD, UCR, UCD, UCSC -- I doubt if I have a chance at Berkley, I am also trying for Cal Poly SLO</p>
<p>Can someone suggest few decent engineering programs out of state where I stand a chance. I know I don't have a chance in IVY schools</p>
<p>9-11 GPA for out of state is UW=3.3; W=3.5</p>
