Strong EC’s but leaves a little to be desired on the academic side. I’d get that ACT up to at least a 34 and you’re probably good to go. Winning a regional essay contest tells me you’re a good writer, so you shouldn’t have too much trouble with admissions essays. You have tons of accomplishments which definitely helps you out. I’d say most of those schools are reaches, but youre probably good to go for Washington or Dartmouth.

Chance back?

Can you individually address them? Additionally do you think my hooks increase my chances much?

Heres an article you might like describing some colleges that are particularly generous (and some not so generous) to lower income students. Among the most generous are Emory, Vassar and Amherst. Despite their big endowments, the Ivies tend to be in the middle. WUSTL is toward the bottom (due I suspect to a focus on merit aid and giving aid to middle to upper middle students with multiple children in college; this was my younger sons experience with WUSTL where they gave him a generous scholarship based on need; we are upper middle, but have three kids in colllge at the same time).

As for chances, all of the schools on your list are very compettive. You have very good qualifications, but are not shoo-in material (almost no one is). Therefore, I would suggest applying ED to your top choice (although some are EA schools) and/or focusing on a realistic Questbridge match . Good luck!

Thank you very much! I will read the article. Additionally if I do not get into a school with amazing financial aid I have a couple likely 3rd party scholarships that are REALLY good. Once again thank you.

I think you have a good chance of getting into Dartmouth, Swarthmore, and JHU.

For UChicago you can get in if you pay good attention to essays.

Don’t know enough to comment about other ones.
