Chance me for Emerson?

Hey guys, I’m a rising senior and Emerson is one of my first choices. I was wondering if someone could tell me if I stand a chance. Thank you!

Major: Writing, Literature, and Publishing
GPA: 4.0 (Unweighted), 4.7 (Weighted)
SAT: 1530
SAT II Lit.: 790
(I’ve taken all honors classes since my freshman year, and 3 AP classes junior year since my school doesn’t offer AP to freshmen and sophomores).
AP American Lit. – 5
AP US History – 5
AP Biology – 4

~ president and founder of my school’s creative writing club
~ member of my school’s advanced choir (handpicked by professor) since freshman year
~ Lead in 2 plays, and participated in 1 musical
~ member of the mock trial team since freshman year
~ member of the debate team
~ co-host of my school’s channel
~ History club member
~ I do a lot of creative writing, and have taken classes on it at my local community college and at the University of Maryland for college credits
~ I have been published in a variety of different literary magazines, and have won a minor writing award
~ I’m also a member of a young writer’s club at my library
~ I’ve had first honors all four years
~ I’ve been voted into NHS by my teachers (only available in junior year)
~ Volunteered at my library
~ Volunteered with reading partners in Baltimore which means going to an underpriviledged school around the area and tutoring young children in reading
~ Volunteered at a retirement home
~ Harvested crops at a non-profit farm which gives to the poor
~ Was the councelor of a Bible camp in the summer of my sophomore year

Please be honest guys, some feedback would be greatly appreciated. Like I said before, Emerson is one of my first choices and I’m really anxious to find out if I’d stand a chance when I apply.

Oh, and I’m a white male. I don’t know how much of a boost being a first generation college student and being gay gives me, but I thought it would be worth mentioning.

yeah, you should be fine(I assumed your sat score was the new sat). Your academics look good when compared to the averages Emerson applicants had and your extracurricular are good too

and yes, being a first generation college student definitely helps you. It also helps with your financial aid btw
