Hi! I'm in eighth grade and will be applying to Emma this year as a day student. I take honors English (9th grade accelerated), algebra (which is what ninth graders usually take in my school district) and earth science regents. My grades since kindergarten have been straight A's. I am student council secretary. I am in our school's community service club, I volunteer as a library helper, and I am in the school play as a main role Outside of school, I have been playing softball every spring and summer and i have played piano for six years. I sing and won my school's talent show last year, as well as getting into all-county chorus. I also draw. I am in girl scouts. During the summer, I stay home with my sick grandmother and take care of her. (I know that that doesn't really qualify as community service, but I hope that it will be regarded as a sort of service.) I would be in the high need financial aid group. My teacher recommendations will probably be very strong ( at least I think my teachers like me ). I haven't gotten my scores back yet on the ssat, but I am expecting pretty good ones. My interview seemed to go pretty well.
Sorry if I forgot anything, my head is kind of jumbled up right now. Thanks in advance :)
