Essays/LORs/Other Very shaky essays imo, wrote very quickly to make deadline. Counselor who read it thought it was decent, LOR probably nothing special, tried to be a good student in teacher’s classes
Your GPA seems low but your rigor is good. How do you rank relative relative to your classmates? Do you have Naviance to tell you if students with similar stats got in? First impression is you are very intelligent but not highly ambitious/motivated. I think it depends how Emory perceives you relative to your school and peers. Oxford would be easier admit than main campus if that’s something that appeals to you. Good luck!
California has some excellent in-state options for environmental science / studies. You won’t have heard from Emory by the UC/CSU deadlines … which public options are you planning to apply to?
Admissions are unpredictable, but I think that my insanely competitive high school’s reputation backed my case for being academically prepared for Emory for sure, even if my GPA was on the far lower side. Also, the research helped a ton I think.

Just know that anything is possible. Take your time, don’t stress out about grades too much, and do things you are passionate about in your free time!
