honestly, we need more data. What were your SAT scores within the composite? Where are you from? Race? Diversity Factor? and a few other things like awards (if applicable), essay strength, letter of recommendation strength (if known), gender, etc
Asian American from Texas go to an international school in Vietnam, female, and recommendation strength: 7outof 10?( not sure), essay strength(checked by three teachers): should be…8out of 10, My SAT score is 610(reading)-760 (math)- 640(writing)
2010 SAT is considered low at these schools, so try to bring it up. Your ethnicity will work against you during admission. If you want to major in applied mathematics, you might want to raise your SAT subject score in mathematics from a 670 to around a 780-800.
Emory-High Reach
Northwestern-High Reach
UC’s- You should be in at most of them except UCLA and USC and maybe UCSB.
All the best.
^ correction to @HollaChalla: USC is not a UC and UCSB is not on par with UCLA and USC. Perhaps you meant UCB. And there is definitely a higher rank UC before UCSB (heard about UCSD?).
OOS fees at the UC’s are $55K per year. Limited to no financial aid for OOS students. Federal aid is very minimal.
