Chance me for engineering at UC Berkeley and UCLA! I'll chance back right away!

Junior year first semester I got a B in precalc. Every math class before that and after that semester has been A's. I've taken almost all the AP classes my school offers. The biggest conundrum for me has been if I should apply as Electrical Engineering to UCLA and UCB or to letters and sciences as a physics major. Since the engineering colleges put more emphasis on math and science, I'm afraid the B in precalc and a 3 on the AP Chem test will lower my chances in that department. If I apply and get in as a physics major, I probably would apply to transfer into the engineering college after the first semester. Which path to take?

You should be fine, your stats look amazing! Your scores in the math and science part of the ACT are really good, don’t worry UCB and UCLA are matches in your case. Good luck.
Chance me back if you can:

You’re definitely in.
Chance me

Both are definitely matches. There’s no need to worry really.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1417569-where-would-you-apply-if-you-were-me.html

You have strong ACT scores and EC’s. The 3 in AP Chem and B in Pre calc will be seen but I don’t think they’ll hurt you that much and you have a good shot at both of these schools!

Chance me back please  http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1417354-chance-me-maybe.html

I’d say you are pretty much in for both. For the 3 on chem, you should just not show it.

chance me?

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1417668-could-i-get-into-university-michigan.html

That ACT score and GPA will really help your app! I think you have a very good chance of getting into both.

Im also applying to UCLA UCB and a few other schools, it would be awesome if you could chance me!

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1416345-chance-me-computer-sci-schools-uw-cmu.html

Your SAT and ACT is outstanding. BUT GPA, even though its high, UCLA admitted average 10~11GPA is 4.37. BUT your act/sat will definitively make up your GPA! i say 90~95% for both LA and Berkely

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1416148-chance-me-uc-schools.html

Good chances at both UCB and UCLA.

They are not too difficult to get in.

I think you’re in to both if you’re in state don’t worry about it aha. Chance me back!

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1417129-chance-me-i-will-chance-you-back-immedietely-2.html#post15057542

@holaamigos, my GPA was a 4.27 because I took the most classes out of everyone at the school. 8 classes a semester is a bit brutal. If only jazz band and concert band were honors classes because the As there brought the overall gpa down.

@kansaschiefs999, I am in state. I was reading around however that UCs are taking more out-of-state applicants as of late.

Thanks for these replies guys and gals.
