I am currently a junior.
These are my credentials thus far:
UW GPA: 3.9
W GPA: 4.226
(these are my cumulative GPA for fresh. and soph. year)

My weighted GPA should boost to 4.3+ and my unweighted should remain about the same.

SAT II's: Chemistry: 780
Math 2: 750
AP tests:
AP Physics B: 5
AP Chemistry: 5
I volunteer at the hospital with over 200+ hours. I also read for the deaf and blind (100+ hours) and I help teach disabled kids to play sports. (50 hrs)

I will be taking more AP classes and SAT II's such as Physics C (Physics with the calculus), AP Biology and AP Calculus BC. Multi-variable Calculus and Linear Algebra and all that good stuff by the time a graduate

I do Cross Country, Winter Track, and JV Volleyball (2 years) (planing on doing Spring track tho).

I participated in New Jersey Science League and placed top 100 in the state. I am also in the club JSA (Junior state of america) and Med- futures

I didnt take any SAT I's yet but I will probably get a 2000-2150.... (taking it on saturday..wish me luck!!)
Expected AP scores:
Calc BC: 5
Physics C E &M : 5
Biology: 5
I will also take the Physics Subject test and should get 780-800 cause I am in the AP class.

My school will also be nominating me for the RPI medal.

Is this school a dream, reach, match, or easy match ( i will easily get in)?

Easy match provided that your SAT I is in the range predicted. Probably not a safety, but pretty close.

any1 else have something to say? and lets just say i get a 2050 on the SAT I…with 750 in Math (im good usually get an 800 but im assuming the worst) and like 680 writing and like 630 CR…im still in the predicted range but 75 percentile is like 2180…but isnt that the score for the kids who ENROLL to RPI so cant we assuming that the average of accepted applicants to be lower? I am also applying ED if that helps increases my chances?

The average SATs of accepted students is usually higher than those who enroll.

The applicants who were accepted with higher SATs have a lot of outstanding options and many of them take advantage of these options and go somewhere else.

The applicants who were accepted with lower SATs do not have as many options and are more likely to attend the school.

How does your school nominate you for the RPI medal?

For most schools, the student just has to talk with their guidance counselor and tell them that they are interested in going to RPI. The student nominated gets the award, there’s nothing past the nomination on RPI’s part really.

edit: Clarification- Every school has one RPI “medal” they can give out. They can give it to whoever they want to.

im assuming since u guys are not answering my question that i dont stand a good chance at applying here?
