Chance Me for Engineering?

(Copied from another post)
Nervous about hearing back from UT bc I’m not as qualified as other applicants. My school didn’t offer any honors or AP classes until my junior year and I didn’t decide on majoring in engineering until the beginning of my senior year.

•Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable): My school does not rank
•AP (place score in parentheses): My school just began offering AP courses last year and I was not confident in my test score because we had little preparation time so I canceled my scores. However, I did take AP Biology, AP Calc AB, and AP Psychology
•IB (place score in parentheses): N/A
•Senior Year Course Load: Honors Physics, AP English Language & Composition, AP Statistics, AP Macroeconomics, AP Government (also doing self-taught AP Chemistry)

Subjective:

Other
•State (if domestic applicant): TX
•Country (if international applicant):
•School Type: Private w/ online curriculum
•Ethnicity: Asian
•Gender: Female
•Income Bracket: $120k
•Hooks (URM, first generation college, etc.): First U.S. born child to attend college in my family (parents and a few cousins went to school in the US after immigrating). Not really a hook but it’s something

Looks pretty good. I’m studying Chemical Engineering right now and I had a lower GPA than you. I wouldn’t really bother with that hook because it doesn’t really mean anything (I was the same situation). Good list of extracurriculars, pretty high test scores, the only thing I would recommend is try to get a ranking/percentile because that’s a big deal.

@Dremora I’m the valedictorian but my school doesn’t actually send out ranks
