If you liked physics then you’ll probably like engineering.

Have you taken AP Calc? Does your school offer AP Calc? I feel like it will be difficult to get in without taking Calc

I know I have a friend at my school who didn’t take calc so he applied to LSA solely because he knew he wouldn’t get in to engineering

Hi, I did take both Calc AB and BC in 10th grade, and Calc III in 11th grade.

I’m asking for the chances I’ll get into UMich engineering. EA results did not go as I hoped, so I’m really nervous now about UMich.

Best of luck to you.

Thanks!

Can someone post a chance though?

.

I had similar stats to you and I just got deferred, waiting for decision.

@sharksfin1998 deferred where?

University of Michigan Ann Arbor school of engineering

Weak subject test scores (they don’t really matter although I hope you didn’t submit them) but strong ECs and GPA. You have a good shot.

@torkoalheat unfortunately, I did submit them because I read that showing that you at least did them would help with decisions. I know they are weak, and I would not have wanted to submit them. I think my SAT, GPA, and ECs do make up for it though.

@sharksfin1998 in-state or OOS?

.

“You will not be penalized for low SAT subject test scores since they are not a required component of a complete application.” – https://umich.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/549/~/sat-subject-tests

Do not worry about it.

@torkoalheat thanks!

Out of state.
