I know my freshman years grades sucked and that has affected my total gpa HOWEVER there is a significant increase in GPA since then..do you think admissions would consider this growth as an advantage??

The admissions would absolutely consider a GPA growth as an advantage. Your SAT scores (which for GTown would be 1500 not 2210) are a testament to the fact that your freshman grades are obsolete. I have a feeling you knew this already but just needed some peer approval

Well I approve and I think you deserve in…

I don’t think Georgetown has an engineering program.

You can check ABET for accredited engineering programs in the U.S. I did not find Georgetown with a cursory search.

There’s this: [Science and Engineering - Georgetown College](http://college.georgetown.edu/programs/majors/43472.html)

Very basic

Georgetown doesn’t have engineering. The science majors at Georgetown are:

Biology
Biology of Global Health
Neurobiology
Environmental Biology
Chemistry
Biochemistry
Physics
Human Science (biomedical science)

There is the dual degree program mentioned above with Columbia University, which seems interesting. I personally would just opt to go to a school with the engineering field I want to study from the beginning.

oh thank you
i never knew that
im jus getting into the whole college madness situation
again thank you
