No clubs or EC's are offered at my school as stated on my application

I think you have an okay chance at exeter, I feel it is a reach. You should show the things you are passsionate about and put emphasis on it. What are you interested in?

What about looking at some other schools that may be right on your level or maybe even safety.

How were your SSAT scores?

Could you chance me? You can find my chance thread on my profile.

You have a good amount of ECs. most important to show quality vs. quantity. sports for 3 or more yrs. is better than all the 1 yr. stuff. If you swim on a swim team, that is a plus. Do you have times to send to the coach?

If your passion is reading then you could tell them about it, maybe use a personal experience story. Like if it were me I’d tell them that when I was 4 I insisted on reading for the other children when it was reading circle at my pre-school. But only tell them something thats true for you.

Chance me, like do You think that i can get in?
I am expecting to get 90+ on the SSAT- I have a long time to practice and am getting a tutor.

My mom went to parent-teacher conferences and said that the Math and English teachers couldn’t get over how much i am excelling. Recs should be unbelievable, although im am not the best in the class in English-One of the best.

Essays should be excellent, i am going over them with my english teacher

Are you only applying to Exeter? Don
t you want to find a few other schools w/higher chance of acceptance in case your dream school decides not to take you? BTW, you look like a great candidate but it
s never 100%.

Your grades seem great and I’m sure that you have a chance of getting in…

But to boost your chances make sure to include any awards that you have won (swimming medals, basketball MVP awards??)

and tell them exactly what you volunteer for because I’m sure some activities count a lot more than others…(ie. helping at the nursing home vs. volunteering at a hospital…both are great but one obviously looks a lot better to the admission offices)

Thanks-
I got two medals in basketball-Last Year mY team won the championship and i was a big help-This Year we won Second although i did even better

4 Summa Cum Laudes in a row (Medal that You recieve for getting a 95+ average and being well-behaved etc…)

You have excellent grades, but don’t BS your ECs, like come on, reading for 10 years??? lol honestly thats a lame excuse for not having others. but yeah basketball is good, they like instrument players so thats good, and make sure you elaborate on your volunteer work. dont try TOO hard to impress them, that makes you look desperate. pick a few of your passions and EXPAND on them. rather than being in 100 activities and you spread yourself thin, choose the ones that you love and excel in them. other than your ecs, youre looking pretty good. please chance me, you can find the thread on my profile. thanks!!!
