AndRight now, I go to a community college in Ohio. This past spring semester was my first semester but I've taken ~17 credit hiurs that will transfer with a 4.0 GPA.

My courses for the fall are:
Honors US History to 1877
Intermediate Algebra (my CC has a long and bloated algebra sequence before calc can been taken, but I'll be taking it next summer)
Creative Writing
Anatomy and Physiology I
Intro to Organic chem/Biochem
Special topic Philosophy that's required for an EC.

That's 21 credit hours. The classes I'll be taking next spring will most likely be Beginning French, Trig, College Algebra, General chemistry, and one other. I'll be graduating next spring after 1 year at my CC.

I'm in the Honor's Program, PTK, a program on social justice where we pick a topic, research/present it and some other things. My topic is the closing down of 15 public schools in the district and the construction of a new juvie center that's three times as big as the last one. I'm also doing paid research at Case Western Reserve University in an organic synthesis lab, and I'm thinking of accepting the offered position of an English tutor on campus.

HS stats are average: 3.2 GPA and a 23 ACT score that I'm retaking next month.

I'd like to apply to:
Ohio State Univeristy
Miami University
Case Western Reserve University
Cleveland State University (safety because of cost)
UPenn
UNC-Chapel Hill
Vanderbilt
And one or two others, I'm not entirely sure of.

I'm a Chemistry major and I want to get into an MD/PhD program.

I think I have a good shot at the in-state public schools, but I'm not sure about the rest.
