Edit Report

I would say you may have a chance with your essays and rec’s 3.0 is kind of low for school but that doesn’t really matter once in college and they are interested in leadership. The key for Cornell is that you have to show them that you fit the career they are offering and that Cornell is the place for you to learn it. In your essay try to explain why you are an important candidate for the economy major, why does it matter for you,is it your passion?
Apart from that ,trying does not hurt. However your GPA(college) is kind of in the low average part and you weren’t involved in much leadership positions and initiatives.
You have to sell yourself as the born to the world economist…i think that’s your only chance…econ is very competitive…

Good luck!

Haha, I figured. I have a Rex from my Econ professor stating I’m one of his best students he’s taught, and I was gonna talk about how my grades drastically improved since focusing on Econ. Also my experience with MS and leadership at Walmart. It’s def gonna be an uphill battle.
