Chance me for Fall 2013?

I would like to apply to UC Riverside for Fall 2013. I already have my associates degree from a community college out of state but i live in California and i have been taking extra classes at a local community college. I will have completed IGETC and a total of 70-80 credits by Spring 2013. I have a 2.95 at the moment but it will most likely rise to a 3.0 overall by the end of Spring 2013. I would like to major in computer science. I did receive an F in Pre-Calculus I and i later retook that to make up for it. I also received a D in Calculus I twice where on my third time i made up for it. I did however dramatically improve overall during my last two semesters and i will continue to improve academically. I have a lot of work experience and a extracular activities as well as basic honors like deans list.
Do i have a chance?

If your UC GPA is a 3.0, you should look into the Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) program. Here’s a link: [Transfer Admission Guarantee](Transfer Admission Guarantee | Apply | Undergraduate Admissions | UCR)

Basically, if you can maintain a 3.0 UC GPA (among other factors), you’ll have guaranteed admission into UCR as a transfer student. You should get in touch with a transfer counselor so you can take a full look at your coursework and see if you’re eligible for the program. Contact the Transfer Resource Center here: (951) 827-5307 or browse their website here: [Transfer Resource Center Home](Transfer | Apply | Undergraduate Admissions | UC Riverside |)

The transfer counselors are really helpful and eager to work with incoming transfer students, so I really urge you to get in touch with them as soon as possible. Good luck!
