The colleges I want to go to are ( In no particular order)
USF
FSU
UNF
FGCU
FAU
UF
My cumulative GPA is 3.5 unweighted.
Cumulative weighted is 4.35.
My academic core is 3.76, not sure what my sus calculation would be but I’m pretty sure (and sad to find out) that this 3.76 is my academic core weighted I think because other kids in my school report having 4.1 academic core GPA’s on virtual counselor, so idk I’m hoping it’s not weighted but whatever since this is my academic core from virtual counselor.
Took SAT and got a 1190, I do terrible on SAT’s but on my ACT I got a 29 and on some practice ACT’s I keep consistently getting 30’s-33’s in each section.
My senior schedule next year will be
AP Lit
AP Gov
AP Econ
AP Psych
Spanish 3 Honors
Marketing 2
Zoology LH (magnet school course)
10 honors courses, 8 AP’s ( 4 if I exclude my senior schedule )

I’m also a first time in college student (first to attend school in my family), single immigrant mom, gpa is kind of on"low"because of hardships sophomore year when I had to get a job to support my family, mixed Hispanic and black. Give me honest answers please thank you (: I really want to go to these schools
USF - your GPA is a match for this school, and your weighted GPA is well above average. An ACT score of a 29 would be above average at USF as well (a 26 among their applicants). Your SAT score is actually a match for USF, as well, however this is only based on your composite. You have a rigorous courseload + lots of extracurriculars. In my opinion, you are a very strong applicant and have lots to feel good about.
FSU - Your GPA, both unweighted and weighted, is above average for this school (3.47 among applicants). Your ACT is as well (26 among applicants). Your SAT is below average for FSU (around 1200). Also note that FSU weights GPA higher than test scores. I think you are a strong applicant here as well.
UNF - Your GPAs and ACT are well above average for UNF (3.37, 25). Your SAT is a match here. They weight these higher than activities, however you are strong in both categories. I would be pretty surprised if they did not accept you.
FGCU - Your GPAs and ACT, like UNF, are much higher than the average applicant (3.31, 23). Your SAT score is higher as well. Though I hate using this term because the process can be so random, I would consider this a “safety” school for you.
FAU - You’re an excellent applicant GPA and ACT wise, well above average (similar to UNF and FGCU). They consider rigor of academic record and you are taking plenty of AP classes. In my eyes, this would be “safety” for you.
UF - Your GPA is slightly below average here (3.63), as well as your ACT (29). If you can get your scores up though, this will really help. They weight activities as much as academic grades, so keep those up! If you focus on improving your numbers I think you’d have a fair shot.
