The below link will give you admissions details on all 12 public universities in Florida. Notice that at some schools, your chances are much higher if you apply to start school in Summer B and not in the Fall.
For those applicants to Summer B, the acceptance rate was 69%, and the Mid Range (middle 50%) of accepted GPA was 3.0 to 3.6. However, for those applicants accepted to the Fall, the acceptance rate was 37%, and the mid range of accepted GPA was 3.6 to 4.4.
Umm the average fau student is a 3.6 to a 4.4 so I’m not sure if fau is the best bet for you. I would suggest retaking some classes during the summer and make sure that you get mostly As. I would be careful about placing fau on the list of schools that you will definitely get into because they upped their requirements recently. But I’m sure that if you get your gpa to at least a 3.0 range, unweighted, then you might get in without any problems.
I think FGCU and FAU are your best bets. I would suggest increasing your GPA and your SAT scores. UF/FSU/UCF are out unless you increase your GPA to around a 3.5 unweighted.
