G tech
Michigan Ann Arbor
Thanks

All of them are matches.

No, they are not with that SAT for UCLA, UCSD , Gtech and ann Arbor.
You need better SAT fore those schools. Do you need FA?

Your SAT is near the 25th percentile for UMich overall while your GPA (need to be recalculated to 4.0 scale) is likely below admission average due to the 8.8 in 11th grade. The CR+M is also below the 25th percentile for UMich CoE as the CR section score is very low.
Purdue should be a match to high match for you and it is a great school for ME.

@paul2752 I need FA.
BTW what about Ohio state, Penn state, UWM?

@billcsho I completely agree with you. That’s why my counsellor categorized them as dream colleges.

How much can your parents pay per year?

UC schools, UMich and Gtech. are out since they give little to no money to OOS and your scores aren’t good enough.

Do those colleges give any need based/merit based aid? Ohio state gives 3 kinds of merit scholarship but none of them is guaranteed to full paid(duh , it’s a state college) Your reading score is too low ohio and Penn State. UWM is safety as long as you can pay.

Actually I don’t know if they provider merit aid. Leave that topic. I saw many students with lower reading section scores getting admission in Penn state? What about UCD,UCI, Colorado Boulder, Minnesota ?

“Actually I don’t know if they provider merit aid. Leave that topic.”
???

What’s the point of applying to schools that don’t give aid when you need money from schools?
Also you didn’t answer “How much can your parents pay per year?” That’s VERY important. BTW i was wrong with Penn State…I got mixed up with other school.

My parents can cover the cost around 35k - 40k. Most of the schools in my list are in budget. However, as I said if I get into those pricey dream colleges than they will manage the extra cost if I don’t receive any aid. You still not answered for other colleges.

Is PSU between $35-40,000 for international students? We are instate and it cost us about $32,000. They are known for giving very little to nothing in merit or scholarships awards.

You have very good chance to get in at PSU and at Purdue.

@tneah2me Actually it is 46000 dollars. I will try in some other colleges as well.
