You have a very good chance of getting into Fordham, it’s definitely a match school but don’t expect merit aid there. While your scores are good, they’re quite the average for Fordham.
But since you are a junior, try and get your ACT Score up to a 30-31 and above and merit aid is much more likely.

You have a decent chance at getting in but likely with very little to no merit.

Agreed with above. My D was admitted EA, initially with with no merit this year. She did then get a $12K award. She is a National Merit Finalist with a 3.94 UW GPA and 32 ACT.

To get the higher merit awards, others on the Fordham EA thread say they were in the 34-36 ACT range, with GPA and ECs to match.

I wouldn’t count on it merit.

I think EA admission is possible, but a couple more points on the ACT would certainly help.

I got in with merit EA with similar stats this year but it was a relatively small merit package and not enough to persuade me to pay the massive price tag for Fordham.

My son got in EA and found out in Feb he got $23,500 in merit money broken into 2 scholarships. He has very similar work experience and volunteer experience to you which I think the colleges loved. He applied as a history major to Rosehill. GPA is 4.0 weighted with big upward trend since freshmen year (not top 10%) and sats 1980. I think you may be pleasantly surprised.

My son was accepted there last year and received about $25k in merit aid. He had an unweighted GPA of 3.5 from a challenging high school and an ACT of 34. His EC’s were good, Eagle Scout, and 4-year varsity athlete. I hope that helps.
