WOULD I BE ABLE TO GET INTO ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING EARLY DECISION???

I looked at their stats and about 1 in 3 get in under early decision.

step one: change that username

edit: chances are a little slim given numbers (god knows columbia loves good numbers)

Step two: Everyone refers to the engineering school as SEAS, not Fu.

Anyways, if you don’t have a good hook (URM, first gen college student, ect.) then SEAS is a high reach for you because those numbers aren’t particularly outstanding.

Don’t waste your money applying.

jeez thanks guys!
you’re ALL so OPTIMISTIC…

^it’s so annoying when people ask for chances (which i think is useless anyway) and get angry when they don’t get the ego boost they want. you asked for opinions, and you’re getting some. get over yourself.

As has been stated many times from a variety of sources, this admissions rate is not really indicative of your chances because of the self-selection inherent in binding early admissions. Effectively, your chances of getting in are 100% or 0%; I don’t understand why people prefix themselves on admissions statistics.
