<p>I am a current junior. White male, but technically Arab-American. Interested in engineering, public policy, various other subjects/ careers.</p>

<p>This is the only college I care about getting into. I'm extremely nervous about getting in. GA Tech superscores test scores.</p>

<p>My school does not rank, but it's a highly competitive private school in GA.</p>

<p>Superscored SAT: 2150
Math: 780
Reading: 720
Writing: 650</p>

<p>(Will take again in October)</p>

<p>ACT Superscored Cumulative: 32
Writing: 35
Math: 31
Science: 30
Reading 31</p>

<p>Cumulative GPA 3.55 UW
Weighted GPA of approximately 3.75
Steep upward trend from 3.36 to 3.93 over the years</p>

<p>Maximum number of AP classes taken.
Did not take advanced mathematics classes, but all core AP Sciences have been taken or will be taken senior year.</p>

<p>Plenty of community service work, 120+ hours I think. Starting my own charity that sells artwork to fund a local autism foundation.</p>

<p>ECs include:
JV Soccer (1 Year)
Varsity Letter in Track and Field (2 Years)
Model Arab League
(Planning on Varsity Tennis)</p>

<p>Additional info:
Have lived in six countries (US, Germany, South Korea, Vietnam, India, Thailand)
Fluent in German, but took French in school to learn a third language.
Personal issues in 9th/10th grade kept my head out of school, made making good grades a little tougher</p>

<p>Are you in or out state? If you can work around your pitfalls I’d say maybe accepted/probably waitlisted. Your EC’s aren’t overly impressive, but you may have a unique situation. Grades a little low, but GT does convert to a 4.5 scale. Do you plan on applying to any other schools?</p>

<p>I’m applying to the usual southern schools: Auburn, Clemson, UGA, and also Purdue and CO School of Mines.</p>

<p>bump, I will apply to VT, and I’m visiting Clemson soon. But I still want to know my chances right now at Georgia Tech, so far I only know that my GPA is a little low (although I may have made some errors in calculation), and that I need to work on my ECs. But I’m running out of time and I would like to know my chances as they are right now.</p>
