<p>Your Math SAT is obviously excellent, but your CR is average. What really hurts is your class rank. You’re in the 10th percentile on rank, and 15th percentile on GPA. That is really weak. In addition, your EC’s are extremely weak. </p>
<p>Since Tech tends to favor GPA over SAT in admissions, I’d say you’re borderline for admission.</p>
<p>The fact that he your are not 10% plays no role with a decent GPA like yours. It will be considered that your High School is very competitive and that you GPA may be just above average at your school but would be easily top 10% at another school. All this considered - go ahead and don the yellow jacket t-shirt! Good luck!</p>
