Recommendations- I expect they will be excellent, (my social studies teacher thing im the next president haha) and I have had the same spanish teacher for 3 years (honors) and she always uses me as an example to the rest of the class as a hard worker.
-My guidance counselor I also expect an excellent essay. She described me as the hardest working students she has ever had.
-My college essay will be about how my experiences in an affluent town next to a notoriously violent and poor town has sparked my interest in government. (Coworkers deported, Witnessed acts of racism,etc.) and I am a very good writer. I am very critical of my own writing and will not send in anything less than excellent

I’d say you’re in good shape for American. GWU may be a slight stretch, but within reach. You’ve got some work to do for Middlebury. Good luck.

What does aiming for a 2050 mean? Have you taken the SAT yet? What was your score? What was your PSAT? No one can tell you what your chances are unless there are real numbers. Lots of people plan to get high scores, but the reality turns out to be much different. Go over to the SAT prep section and read threads there. There is a lot of whining about how the scores came out lower than people expected.
