Essays: 7/10 for Georgetown. For one of them I wrote about my mother’s broken English and tied it back to my interests in languages and my growth overall. In the other essays I wrote about baking cookies, starting a book club, and the Syrian refugee crisis/my parents being refugees. Its probably a cliche and a little too political
Teacher Rec #1: 8/10. From my teacher who has known me for 3 yrs. She’s the advisor of MUN and I’ve taken 2 or her AP classes.
Teacher Rec #2: 8/10. Ive taken 3 years of her language classes and am her top student. I’ve baked cookies for both my teachers for parties and they seem to enjoy them lol. I also have bonded with them and volunteered for them over the years.
Counselor Rec: 6/10. We got a new guidance counselor at the start of my senior year and I’ve only met him a few times. I did try to make a good impression and I heard he gives out good letters of rec so who knows.
Additional Rec: 7/10. From my boss. She knows that I started service projects there and also that I’m a hard worker. It is the first time she’s doing a letter of rec though.
