PS How do I find my posts again after I post them? is there a tool? I will just search through log to find this one again.

when you’ve already posted something and want more people to see it if it’s fallen off the front page, you post again on that same thread, or “bump” it back to the top.

bump moves your thread to the top of the forum, and chance back means that you look at someone’s thread/statistics and give your opinion on whether they will get into the colleges they list or not.

no matter how great the rest of your app is, if it’s a noticeable typo, all of these schools are going to look at it and think “he didn’t even take the time to look over if he had typos. why should we take the time to look over his application?”

is it like a letter? or a missing apostrophe? what is it

Well it was two words combined because i was missing a space, and a bold word. My mom submitted it before I had time to look over it. #yoloswag
That is what I was thinking, but I also thought that the story is what really matters isn’t it. It was only one supplement.

I dont.think the colleges will go that hard on a simple typo, as long as.it doesnt.change your meaning. As for you this is a perfect match for all.schools. the.only worry for you is your SAT as.they are.a.bit low.

subject tests? ya i know… I was hoping that thy would see that my school is one of the lowest ranked in california and forgive me, they have to take that into consideration. I am actually really strong in bio, and I did the best out of all of them on the bio one. My math I flubbed, I usually scored a 740 on practice tests.

Georgetown: High Match/Low Reach
Johns Hopkins: Match/High Match
Brown: Low Reach/Reach (because it’s an Ivy)

Application isn’t lacking anything besides the Math on the SAT, which is still solid and you’re retaking. Mid 7s on that and solid SAT2s and your chances go up a tad (fall into the first range I mentioned). Thanks for chancing Jo, and I wrote a little back on my thread.

tyrtle I love you… Math sucks so much… I got a 760 on Cr and 790 on Writing… I could have gotten that 2300 if I got a 750 on math. Now I have to retake it…
