Chance me for Georgetown restrictive EA????

Hi so I recently visited Georgetown and fell in love with it, but considering its large EA pool and very small acceptance rate, I'm worried about my chances getting in especially since my subject test scores are low (ranging from 690-710).

I'm retaking the subject tests in October but I don't know if I'll do much better. Anyways, my question is, what are my chances if my SAT II scores stay the same, and what are my chances if they improve (upper 700s?)

please chance me? also what would my chances be RD? I'm considering applying ED to Vanderbilt if I don't apply EA to Georgetown.

Georgetown EA: High match (EA is not restrictive)
Vanderbilt ED: High match

i’m pretty sure Georgetown EA is restrictive in that you can’t apply anywhere else ED. It’s not binding, so if I’m accepted I wouldn’t be contractually obligated to go, but I can’t apply anywhere else ED if I apply to Georgetown EA (thus my dilemma between Georgetown/Vandy)

I’m going to be a bit tough (and a jerk) and say Low reach for both early:
-UW GPA might not be as high as they might want it
-SATIIs -may- hamper you
-I personally like your ECs, but if colleges call them “flat”…what can you do?
All the same, I think you come off as pretty cool (Forensic Psych as a summer class?!), and your best shot is your essay and making yourself a person, not a name on a list.

Best of luck! I’m biased towards Georgetown, but try and visit Vandy to help make up your mind.

Chance back if you will? Also debating G-town REA vs Cornell ED, Tufts, Rice, JHU, etc…

[Early Action Program - Office of Undergraduate Admissions](http://uadmissions.georgetown.edu/firstyear/early-action/)

This is Georgetown’s page regarding early action. They say that one can apply at multiple schools EA so long as none of these EA plans are restrictive plans.

Don’t apply anywhere ED if you don’t have a clear, by far, first choice. It’s a looong time from November to August, plenty of time for regrets. Wait until May 1 to decide.

@Catria yes that’s what i meant, i would only be able to apply to other schools EA but no binding-ED schools. most of my schools only have ED or RD so probably the only place i’ll be applying early to is georgetown.
@vonlost yeah that’s very true that’s why i want to apply to georgetown EA because i get the benefit of finding out early but it’s non-binding so i’m not obligated to go there if i end up not wanting to. what do you think my chances for EA georgetown are?

Hmmm …
I think your good for Georgetown and Vanderbilt both to be honest :3

“what do you think my chances for EA georgetown are?”

Sorry, I know nothing about Georgetown that’s not available on the school’s site. :(

@vonlost that’s okay! anyone else??
