Chance me for Georgetown :))

Hey Everyone,
Please help me get an opinion of my chances Georgetown Early Action! I know it's always really hard to tell, especially with top tier schools, but just give me your opinion.

Background:
I currently live north of Chicago in Illinois and attend a top ranked public high school. I moved to the US about 6 years ago and skipped a grade right away, since I was part of the German school system before. I lived in a lot of different cities across Germany and eventually also in Paris, France, and Prague, Czech Republic, which I have to say has given me a culturally open and adaptable outlook over the years. I am currently fluent in German, English (I'm told I have no accent even though I did not really start learning English until arriving here) and almost in French. I have taken both French and Latin to keep up with a European curriculum and am in AP classes for both now. I will also have to apply as an international student, even though I've lived here for quite a while, due to incomplete resident/non-citizen status. I would not need any financial aid if that matters.

Intended Study:
International Relations (See background + ECs)
Neurobiology (possible minor or second major)

School:
I am currently a Senior and have taken all the AP and Honors classes possible (a total of 9 including this year) and have received 5s on all the APs so far so I have an AP scholar award. I have been choosing to study both Latin and French instead of taking an elective all four years.
Cumulative GPA: 4.21/4

Tests:
SAT: 2210 (770M/680CR/760W)
I know the CR is terrible and I'm sure that I can do much better on the so I'll take it one more time. Reading sections tend to be a little harder for me since English is my second language.
SAT II (Subjects): 800 German, 760 Math, 700 US history
ACT: 33 (35 English, 34 Math, 34 Reading, 30 Science)
AP: Physics 5, Language and Composition 5, AP US History 5

Thanks ahead of time and I'll do my best to chance you back!

I already commented on your other thread (are you going ED cornell or REA Gtown? Or trying to get a grip on which one better works for you?), but I still see a low reach shot for you and -most- top 20 schools.

G-town specific…neuro is good news for you. Health-oriented school, that might play into your favor. Tough subject, but if you show genuine interest in it…that might make your app shine.

So since I chanced you twice, and somehow Cornell ED and georgetown (and some other schools) have showed up on my list in the past few days…wanna chance me again for those new schools? lol

Okay thanks! I appreciate it. Yeah I’m pretty much just trying to get a grip on which works best cause I’ve gotten my list of reaches down to NU and Georgetown. Why would you say that Neuro would be better for me at GU? I was considering IR specifically for gtown because I’m also interested in this even though its a completely different field. Okay now to get to your chances! I am not too familiar with the American application process so I’ve tried to stay away from chancing others since I don’t want you to take my possibly false judgement and rely on it during your app process… I’d say we’re actually very much in the same boat! Cornell ED rate goes up to 31% so if thats where you actually wanna spend the next four years, I’d go for it. Just make sure you know why you want to be there and really show it in your essays. It is realistically the easiest of all the tough roads into the ivy league. All other upper tier schools (JHU, NU, GU, UC, Ivies, etc) tend to be incredibly unpredictable. Try to look at your schools naviance or similar web page if you have one and look at the admissions graph for people from your school. If you don’t have anything this go to your College Resource Center and ask for previous application records. Of the other schools about anything thats not 1-1.5 tier schools should be a go. Again I’m not very experienced so can’t be too helpful- sorry.

GTown EA: Low Reach
(GTown has a low EA admit rate)
