How many volunteer hours do you have?

@daisypat1251
I should have 100+ by the end of this year, I messed up and didn’t fill the forms for most of the events I organized. I’ll also be the mentee under the chairman for the United States International Trade commission, Irving Williamson.

ai think you have a good chance! 90% Good luck!

BGMuleri,

Admission to college is a black box process with often inscrutable results that can depend, in part, on hooks and non-quantifiable soft factors such as essays and recommendations. As a result, no one outside the Georgetown admissions office can accurately predict admission chances.

Absent winning a Noble Prize, being the next Patrick Ewing, or having a parent who just donated $100 million dollars to the school, Georgetown is not a safety for virtually any applicant. At best, admission to a top-twenty school like Georgetown with a sub-20 percent admit rate is a reach for most top candidates.

You have an excellent record and an interesting background that should merit serious consideration by the admissions committee. For now, focus on things you can control like writing compelling essays, obtaining favorable recommendations, maintaining your grades, and scoring above 1400 on the SAT.

Good luck!
