Chance me for Georgia Tech and Purdue

I want to do engineering and both these schools have great programs. My highest choice is Georgia Tech because I’m an in-state resident and it would be very cheap for me to attend.

Work Experience:
Worked out of my fathers mechanic shop this last summer in which I learned a lot about how cars work on the inside as well as how to do basic things like painting cars and sanding them.

Teacher Rec:
10/10: My recommendation is from the Science Department Chair at my school, whom I aced her AP Biology class and started the Science Olympiad team with, shes an awesome woman!

Your SAT is below average for GT, but above well average for Purdue (match). What is the breakdown? Your GPA EC’s are very good so you have a good shot with GT’s holistic admissions. No one can predict what GT will do anymore, since the admissions director said they rejected 600 kids with 35-36 ACT scores in EA but gave no further information. GT 's application numbers continue to rise but that shouldn’t affect you much as an in-state student.

My breakdown is
Reading: 720
Math 680
Writing: 650

Also forgot to mention as a community service: Last summer I went to Ghana for two weeks and taught kids how to play soccer, helped them with basic schooling (rudimentary math and reading) among other things.
