With 8 AP’s, a 2190 SAT, varsity soccer, and an internship in your major I think its almost a given that you’ll get in. Your sat’s are above Georgia Tech’s mid 50% range in every category and your internship will show that you already have experience in your major. The only thing that might not be to your advantage is your lack of exracurriculars. Colleges like sports, but when they’re balanced with several EC’s. You’ve only got Spanish Club and your internship. But other than that you have a really good chance at getting in.

Thanks so much for the response, I was actually also in FBLA last year but didn’t include it because it had nothing to do with my intended major. Should I list it anyway?

And can anyone else chance me please?

Even if it has nothing to do with your major, include it! It’ll show that you have more than one interest, that you’re a well rounded student, and that you can contribute your other interests to the campus. Colleges love diversity!

GT considers GPA more than test scores…likely because it’s a state school and needs to accept some Georgia students with less-than-top GPAs.

76% of their frosh come in with at least a 3.75 GPA.

Are you instate for GT? If so, then it sounds like you qualify for HOPE. If you’re OOS, then be sure to use the NPC unless your parents are willing to pay full freight.

I am out of state, and what is NPC?

I’m pretty sure they will accept you. Don’t worry too much about it…you have the stats.
