<p>GPA (unweighted): 3.9014</p>
<p>Top 13% of my class.</p>
<p>9-10 grade: all pre-IB (basically honor) courses.
11-12: all IB courses (diploma candidate)</p>
<p>SAT: 1930 (Georgia tech takes superscore, right?)</p>
<p>1 teacher recommendation (he was my Java teacher; trying to pursue a degree in technology-related field, but I signed up for business administration so I can learn some information system stuff) - I think it was good? I got a glimpse and he rated me pretty high...</p>
<p>Extracurricular activities: 3 years tutor for illiterate students; secretary of MESA; key club member</p>
<p>Ethnicity (if this even matters...): Asian</p>
<p>Gender (again, not sure if this factors into admission process): female</p>
<p>Intended major: business administration</p>
<p>College essay: I had over 10 people go over it and they all basically said the same thing: that it was original and unique and kept your attention going. I think the prompt was about a place that makes you feel happy and rather than responding with something physical, I described something from my imagination.</p>
<p>I'm freaking out right now because I don't think I have the grades to get in. I heard GT is extra selective this year. Are my chances good?</p>
