Hi, I’m an asian female from in-state in a very competitive high school. I applied for georgia tech early action to the college of sciences for psychology. Please give me some hope! (But be honest lol)

Please tell me if you need to know anything else! If it helps, I live in a single parent household as my dad passed away suddenly in the middle of my junior year.
Since you applied EA, you should find out in the next few weeks. Chance Me threads can’t influence your chances, and it doesn’t matter what people say–it’s entirely in the hands of the admissions officers. This waiting is the worst part of the process!
I recommend you find something to occupy idle worrying time. Before my school’s ED decisions came out, I spent a ridiculous amount of time on Netflix. But it almost kept me sufficiently distracted… LOL.
Haha thanks! I do know that my chances cant be influenced, but I just cant help but be worried about the decision. But I will definitely try to distract myself from getting too stressed.
I’m pretty familiar with this school’s process. S17 and D19 both applied there. Your statistics are strong. Female status helps. Your choice of college is a plus. Are you OOS?
You will find out 1/12 at 12. Good luck, and I hope to see you in the Class of 2023 threads!
As an OOS student and Asian, I can assure you that Georgia Tech is no place to take lightly. It is a grueling arena of rigorous work. But I think you have what it takes. Even Team Avatar needed Sokka.
