<p>I am a senior applying to George Washington, ED II. I'm applying to the School of Media and Public Affairs, majoring in Political Communication.
GPA: 3.2 unweighted, 4.7 weighted (on a 6 scale). I had a bad junior year which brought down my grades, but so far my senior year grades are good. GPA does not include senior year grades.
Class Rank: Top 45% weighted.
Classes: No AP's, but majority of my classes are considered Honors.
SAT: 2050 overall. CR: 670, Math:710, Writing: 670. This is superscored.
SAT II: Math 1: 690, US History: 670. </p>

<p>Extra Curriculars:
Soccer all 4 years, varsity letter senior year
Outdoor track for 2 years
Drama all 4 years. A Lead role in school musical grades 10-12. THE lead role 12th grade. Participated in "tournament of plays," each grade puts on their own play. Won best actor 10th and 12th grade, best play 10th-12th
Volunteer as youth basketball coach, reader at church, religious education teacher
Summer jobs all throughout high school, as well as soccer and basketball refereeing
Member of acapella group at school
Latin Club
Selected to represent school in history competition</p>

Middle class. I also have a twin sister who will be attending college at the same time as me.
Rec's good, essay good (wrote about my transformation from being a wannabe jock to great actor)</p>

<p>My friend got in ED 1 with similar grades and SAT, she is a girl (obviously). </p>

<p>I have a skype interview scheduled for sometime this week</p>

<p>Any advice is greatly appreciated! I'm also applying to American, BC, Syracuse, Northeastern, and University of Maryland in case I don't make it into GW, so chance for those as well if you like.</p>

<p>Also my high school is ranked as the 6th best in Massachusetts, so my probably low class rank is pretty good considering the smart people i have in my grade. Recently some classmates have been accepted into Harvard, Yale, Brown, Penn, GW, Wash U at St Louis, and Tufts. So that shows that I come from a competitive and very smart school. Hopefully that helps a bit.</p>
