another Jewish kid from Long Island with good grades, high SAT’s and a coming of age story in the Middle East. Believe it or not, there are probably more kids with that profile than any other. Usually, they want to go to H/Y first, then Penn, then GWU as a back-up. So, unless you’re going ED, I think GWU will lump you in the group that doesn’t really want it as a first choice, just a safety. Give you a 40% chance.

haha GW syndrome?

I say you have a good chance! You show interest in the areas GW is interested in. Good luck! :)

hbs…who are u? Your posts yesterday show two very different people…one male the other female…different stats? Based on those other schools you “chanced”, rebelangel is probably correct if these stats are correct.

You are in, I think

hahahaha. nbg- my friend and i share this accuont - im assuming you were looking at grinnell’s thread. did you mean based on her stats or those here?

and rebel - thanks for your honesty, clearly my demographics dont work in my favor. hopefully my why gdubs essay was able to go shine through your very accurate claim (i didnt apply to h/y, but i did early to penn and was deferred). i do love gw though - ive visited a good three times.

hbs…I thought that might have been what was going on. lol!

I would definitely make sure GW admissions know the school ranks at the top of your list. I looked at last year’s RD accepted thread and there were a few really upset high gpa/testers that were waitlisted or rejected.(I was referring to the stats above, 3.9 et with my post) Good luck!

It will definitely help if you have demonstrated interest because then they’ll know it’s not just a safety. Did you interview because that would really help
