Sorry for the length. Please be honest ill chance back.

The only thing potentially stopping you from being a highly competitive applicant is your GPA. For this reason alone, I’d advise that you apply RD, using high grades next semester to bump up your GPA.

Good luck! :)

Chance back pretty please?

You are definitely a qualified candidate. Though like mentioned before, your GPA and SAT are both a tad bit low for Harvard, though not out of their average range. Your EC’s are very impressive, though, and a good essay/recommendations will definitely strengthen your application. Now, although you’re a very qualified candidate, it’s pretty much a crapshoot, since you’ll be competing amongst other applicants who are just as qualified as you, and only so many of you will actually get in. So while you do have a solid chance, nothing is really definite. I’d say go for it early action, however, while the applicant pool is smaller and you have a better chance of being selected. Best of luck!

Your SAT is NOT on the low end for Harvard. It’s firmly in the higher spectrum of what Harvard would see. You’re a hardworking, very well rounded, intelligent person. You’re in a good spot to be accepted to any of the Ivies. Says the 17 year old kid posting on College Confidential.
