Chance Me for Harvard/MIT/CalTech

(I posted a thread similar to this one a few months ago, but since then I have gotten so many results of SAT's, etc. back that this is basically a much more full chancing. Please chance me!)

I'm a second semester junior right now; I do plan on applying early to Harvard, depending on my chances. I really like the Massachusetts duo (MIT/Harvard). I like cold weather, and I am really passionate about my academics; furthermore, most of my family on the East Coast. Also, since I live in California, I want to apply to CalTech due to location, so chance me there too. Anyways, I will list everything I have so far here. Please give me your honest opinion on whether I could get into Harvard/MIT or not!

White Male, Public School. Both parents have Bachelor's Degrees.
4.0 GPA unweighted (4.7 weighted with AP's) so far. All A's from 9-11 grade in every subject. I take the most rigorous course load that my high school offers in English, Math, Science, and History. On track to be valedictorian.

8 AP Classes so far: Euro, Environmental, Computer Science, Chemistry, Calculus BC, United States History, Statistics, English Language. I plan on taking 3 next year: Government, Physics C Mechanics, and English Lit.

9 AP Tests: Biology (4), Euro (5), Environmental (4), Computer Science (5). I took 5 (Calc BC, Chem, US, Stat, and English Lang) this May. Taking Psychics, English Lit, Government in Senior year (May 2014).

AP Scholar With Honor Award, most likely AP Scholar With Distinction this fall.

770+ on Math IIC SAT Subject test. I took it in May 2012 as a Sophomore and got a 770, and retook on Saturday (most likely 800). I also got an 800 on Chemistry SAT and 780 on U.S. History SAT.

Took SAT in March. First attempt. 2320 (720 CR/800 M/800 W). I don't plan to retake (..should I?).

223 PSAT in California. Most likely (?) National Merit SF/F.

I will be taking Multivariable Calculus/Differential Equations during Senior Year at a local college since I have exhausted my school's math courses.

I interned for 100+ hours at a math learning center during spring of 10th grade and summer between 10th and 11th grade. My supervisor/boss liked me so much that I was hired part-time. I still work there 6 hours a week.

I run a small import/export operation on the internet. It is a legitimate, tax-paying business, and I keep copious records of everything I do.

My friend and I have launched 2 (soon to be 3) weather balloon experiments using custom hardware and software. I have written up papers on how they operate, and I have video footage, taken by my custom-designed iPhone application, from 120,000 feet in the air.

I have taken three years of Spanish in high school. I planned on taking four years, but decided last year to stop at three due to my wanting to pursue math/science more. How much will this hurt me at the Ivys?

I have been an member in many clubs, including: Anti-Drug Abuse Club (3 years), Film Club (will be all four years), Math Honor Society (will be all four years).I am not a member of any more clubs, but I am passionate about the ones I am in. I have been an officer in all 3 of the clubs that I have listed, but, most notably, I was recently elected as President of the Math Honor Society.

I have very good relationships with my teachers, and my supervisor/boss from my internship. These will (hopefully!) make good letters of recommendation!

No sport. No instrument. These are my two achilles' heels, along with language. So, give me your worst, CC'ers!

You essentially have everything an applicant to these schools could want. I would expect at least 1 admit between the 3.

^I wouldn’t say so. ckfy63a, you are a great applicant; your GPA is stellar, your SATs are amazing, and your extra curriculars are impressive. However, you must remember that students with similar stats as yours apply to HYPM around the world. I’m not saying your chances are weak; if any, your chances are probably better than many others. But HYPM is such a “gamble,” and no one can accurately predict your chances.

Enter in your stats, and they will compare to other applicants and give you a very rough estimate of your chances (relative to previous applicants).

You have a strong resume. However, many of the applicants have similar stats. You seem to lack either state/national club awards or science fair. I guess it just comes down to how well you write your essays. I would expect acceptance at least 1 of the schools listed and would also apply for Stanford if I were you.

Mind chancing back?
