Chance me for Harvard/MIT/CalTech?

Hello, I am a member of the class of 2014.

Here is a list of the colleges I've applied to:
Harvard University
MIT
CalTech
Princeton University
UC Berkeley
UCLA
UC San Diego
UPenn
Northwestern University
Yale University
Stanford University

I have a 4.65 GPA, 2390 SAT score and many club endeavors:
Vice President of Robotics Club
Secretary of California Scholarship Federation Club
Secretary of Quiz Bowl Club
Secretary of Interact Club
Member of Key Club
I have racked up a total of 307 hours of community service.

I am also on the Varsity football team (Senior & Junior), and the Varsity track team. I am also a fan of singing, and part of my school's highest level choir since sophomore year.

i’m afraid you’re gonna have to settle with community college with those awful stats…

My top priority after Harvard/MIT is CalTech, but I would settle for UC Berkeley if I didn’t get into any of the three.

Please, I need some opinions.

the thing is a dude with lower than SAT 2200 and GPA 4 with amazing EC’s will be on top of you. and i GUARANTEE that with those stats you won’t be admitted to caltech either.

Any examples of these ‘amazing ECs’? I am a URM.

Those look fantastic, a freind of mine got into caltech with a 2400 sat and a slightly lower gpa. good luck.

You sound like my son with one twist:
My son’s just made Eagle, so he didn’t apply ED because he was finishing his Eagle.

Any clubs that are non-academic, besides choir.

Oh, he didn’t apply to UCSD.
People need to visit that campus before they apply so there will be no surprises.

why are people saying your stats are low? did you change them with that edit?

I think some of those schools require subject tests. Maybe you just forgot to list them

Bump, where is your SAT2 score??? At first, your score is awesome, but your ECs, in my perspective, is not good enough, especially for RD.if you still want to get into Harvard,MIT,Cal Tech,I think you should gap year and do sth stately.
chance me back: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?p=16750531

Your chances are low due to a sub-par amount of ECs. What did you get one SAT II tests?

Lol this has to be the worst applicant I’ve seen on here by far ;)

Great chances at UCB, UCLA
UCSD: Safety

NW: Low Reach
Penn CAS: Low Reach

All others: Reach (Do not see anything special)

Wait!
“I am a URM”

This changes everything.

Your SAT is at 2390, how did you get a 2390? My son missed one question on the CR and got a 2370.
Your SAT score combined with your sports and URM should get you into most of your universities except Harvard, MIT and Cal Tech. Why? No distinguishable National awards that those universities can brag about.

you will get into ucb everthing else i am not familiar with or are reaches like harvard
did you take sat subject tests by any chance

Not sure why you are asking for chance now. If your top choices are Harvard/MIT/Caltech you should have applied EA to those schools. If you are not EA rejected and is deferred from EA to RD then your chance is good.

harvard mit caltech all reach

Please chance me for Stanford
