<p>I am going to apply to apply ED to another school, but I will change my mind if you think I have a chance at Harvard. Please tell me your honest opinion, I need to submit application by today.</p>

SAT II: Waiting for results next week. Math2, physics. Expecting 700+
Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): "A-" We do letter grades

AP (place score in parenthesis): Psychology (5), CS(4)
IB (place score in parenthesis): NA
Senior Year Course Load: 7 courses. (2 languages, economics ap, chem ap, physics ap, religion studies, English Lit + AP)
Major Awards (USAMO, Intel etc.): Microsoft Imagine Cup 2012 chosen top 5 nationally and won people's choice award, Microsoft Imagine Cup 2013 chosen top 5 nationally, and assigned as a Microsoft Student Partner

<p>Your ECs are really interesting but SAT seems a little low. Harvard=Reach. Go for it in the RD round. :)</p>

<p>The problem is that I want to apply to ED for another ivy. And I am afraid that would deprive me of the Harvard dream. So do you think my chance at Harvard is good enough for me to blow waste my ED advantage at another ivy?</p>

<p>Roughly a 5% chance, so probably more prudent to apply ED elsewhere.</p>

<p>I would reconsider. Your ECs are quite interesting, but not enough to back up your weak SAT scores and grades. Also, keep in mind that international students in general tend to have a slight disadvantage in the first place, and that people who early Harvard tend to be typical “all-star” students.</p>
