Chance me for Huntsman & CAS

Hey guys,

I'm a German applying to Huntsman and CAS (PPE). Chance me please :)

SAT IIs: Math II:660, Literature:730, French:770
SAT: 2190 (CR:740, M:700, W:750)
IB Diploma: Higher Levels: Econ, A1 English, B Spanish (Predicted 6,7,7 respectively)
Standard Levels: Biology, Math, German A2 (Predicted 6,7,7 respectively)
(1 year of HL Math in Grade 11, grade: A)
(total predicted score: 43/45)
APs: taking Calculus BC (self-study)
GPA: 3.96 (unweighted), school doesn't rank

Took IGCSEs (British 11th Grade HS Diploma), scores: English Literature: A, English Language: A, Math: A, German Lang: A, French Foreign: A, Spanish Foreign: A*

ECs: soccer (4-year club & varsity), rugby (3-year-club), SAT Study Club, MUN, ECIS Math League winner, Internships (unpaid) at European Central Bank & German stock exchange's repo subdivision, The Oxford Tradition 2009 summer program, Leadership in the Business World @Wharton 2010 participant, school swim meet helper.

Country: Germany
School: Private international school, college prep.
Ethnicity: Latino
Gender: Male

Hook (?): multinational background (Spanish & Belgian national born in Switzerland, raised in Germany), international student.

I'm applying to Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Northwestern, WUSTL, UC Berkeley, UCLA, Vanderbilt, and UTexas Austin RD, in addition to some British universities. Thanks for chancing :)

I would say very good chances for all the UNI’s. I have almost same results as you. I would recommend to re-take SAT and SATII. And instead of doing Calculus BC I would choose HL Maths or even pursue Further Maths. Very hard, but very solid hook.

And IGCSE’s are usually taken in 10th grade, since British have 12 grades and 11 and 12 are IB.

Btw, do you know what kind of grades will universities look at, if I am same international student as you, doing IB right now?

Boldyreff1: I’m probably gonna retake some of the SATs, yeah. I feel I’m on the safe side with my 2190, but my SATIIs definitely need a little… I can’t take HL Math anymore cos the registration deadline passed before I knew how important it was for some of the courses I’m applying to, so I took Calc BC instead. Little correction here: IGCSEs are taken in Grade 11 in the English public system, Grades 12 and 13 being devoted to AS- and A-Levels.

I think American universities don’t care that much about your predicted scores (as opposed to UK universities), but rather about your transcript. Typically, American high schools don’t predict. So they’ll look at your transcript and your standardized test scores.

Well this is quite bad because the year I took IGCSE’s I have messed up my transcript, took like 3 C’s however there were reasons for it…

Oh, I see the mistake, in UK they study 13 years, but in my British school in Prague it is 12 years for international students and 13 for Czechs(so they get Czech diploma also). Thats why.
Do you plan to apply to Oxbridge Uni? And btw, how old are you? Senior year I suppose?

Strong chances.
I love your multilingual hook.

Retake your SATIIs and you are even a match for HYP.

Yes, he is currently a senior.

indeed I am

To clarify: I EDed Huntsman and Penn, and my target language is French.
