Just taken Chemistry this October, Waiting for results
GPA:3.82/4.00 or 94/100
Class ranking: 1st for 2 and a half years</p>

<p>No APs in Chinese schools, but the courses equally difficult as APs
(Chinese, math, physics, chemistry, biology, geology, Chinese and World history, Politics roughly equal to US AP-level courses)</p>

<p>Academic awards:
National 2nd Prize in Chinese Physics Olympiad for 3 consecutive years(Best ranking:55th in a pool of 30000 in province)
Provincial 3rd Prize in Chinese High School Math Tournament(Top 500 in a pool of 30000)
National 1st prize in the Chinese National English Proficiency Contest for 2 consecutive yearsTop 50 in a pool of 30000)
Scholarship Winner of the 'Picture yourself in Perth' Competition held by Perth government and my city(Top 10 out of hundreds within the entire city)</p>

<p>ECs:
1. Founder and Leader of the student acoustic guitar band for 2 consecutive years, gave performances in school
2.Teaching assistant in New Oriental School for a few months
3.Head of the Studying Department of the Students' Union for 2 years; led a petition in school for changes in teaching methods;
4.Research on mathematics during summer in Grade 10;paper submitted to the 'Tomorrow Little scientist Competition' in China
5.Volunteer in local nursing homes; Service hours:100+
6. Chief translator of the entire school during foreign exchanges: service hours: no less than 50(5.6 both lasted for 1-2 years)</p>

<p>You have a lot of colleges already, I don’t think you should add more to your list, rather narrow down your college list.</p>

<p>The first set of your schools are listed in roughly prestige order (with the exception of Dartmouth) to the general population…hmmmmmmm…</p>

<p>Any list that has Brown and MIT on the same list has not been researched…</p>

<p>I think you’ll get into at least one hypm. Your awards are what set you apart. And your gpa is good for a Chinese applicant. Hypm will know that</p>

<p>You seem very qualified, I would say you have a strong chance at your schools, but no guarantees. Remember to have some safeties. Your SAT and Awards (as dirtysocks45 said) are your strong points.
