<p>Don’t talk about things like “auditioned for 'merica’s got talent.” You auditioned, but you didn’t get chosen. That’s name-dropping your own failure. Skip it.</p>

<p>I disagree, you should definitely mention the got talent audition because it shows a unique aspect of your personality, as does the cupstacking. You can also use either of them as an introduction/background in your essay to show an emotional aspect of your personality and discuss your personal skills, personality traits. If H is your first choice, then you should apply EA because you have good science stats and they may assume that you will prefer Stanford/MIT.</p>
