thanks for your help guys! and to clarify the leadership since I guess I didnt make myself clear, being president of the interact club involves 100+ hours of commitment/planning each year. I dont know if that makes my leadership better?

I would caution against overt optimism in the admissions process, as it can lead to disappointment (my sister thought she would make it in at Brown after positive feedback from CC, but was waitlisted, and then rejected. She was very upset but ended up loving the LAC she went to!)

That being said you are the applicant type each of the schools dreams of, so I think you will likely make it in at more than one.

Perhaps add Cornell, Columbia, and Hopkins/WUSTL/Northwestern to your list? That way you have some wonderful options in case HYPS falls through.

dartmouth (definitely a top choice) - Excellent chances
davidson - you should make it in
vanderbilt - in
columbia - excellent chances
amherst - excellent chances
georgetown - definitely in

I really think you have a shot at all of them. You have softball as a good EC, your rank is awesome, your SATs are great, i would say you will get into at least one of the HYP. Also, you’re URM status helps a lot. Finally, just get good recs and write outstanding essays, and you’ll be in.

Hate to sound rude, but because you’re Hispanic, you’ll get in to pretty much any school you want. It happened to my Latina friend who was #6 in our class.
