<p>Hello! Please chance me for HYPSM... they are my only choices and, to be honest, I have not found any other colleges I like.
SAT: 2370 (800 CR, 800 math, 770 writing)
ACT: 35 (retook and got another 35 :( )
SAT II: Physics 800, chinese with listening 800, chemistry 800, world history 750 (weak spot)
EC: class president, varsity soccer (four year starter, varsity captain), varsity swimming (three year varsity letterer, varsity captain, most improved sophomore year), varsity track and field (four year varsity letterer, hold school record in 200 m dash) NHS (president)
volunteered 500 hours since freshman year at local hospital (volunteer of the year, sophomore year), founded service club at school (helping hands, president for three years), debate team (main speaker),
ethnicity: white
GPA: 4.0 unweighted, 4.8 weighted
passed all APs (chem, bio, stats, world history, us history, human geography, and psychology) with a five except for ap us gov, for which i received a 4 :(

<p>I honestly think that if you don’t get in with your stats and ecs, there’s no chance for the rest of us lol. Just make sure your essays and recs are strong :D</p>

<p>haha, it’s obvious why those schools are the only ones you like. You have the academics and, for the most part, ECs to get into the top schools. The other stuff like essays/recs will be important. Please make sure you have other schools on your list though.</p>

<p>Good numbers and subpar ECs (unless you’re recruitable) make admission improbable. You need more schools.</p>

<p>You seem incredibly qualified for HPYSM, but it’s still a reach! I think that if you write really great essays and honestly show your interest in the school it should not be a problem!</p>
