I am planning to apply to these schools regular decision to major in international relations, but I was wondering if you all think I have a realistic chance.
Sat Score: will not report
Act Score: 34
Sat IIs: 800 Bio M, 800 US History
GPA: 4.0 (97.8, very close second in class of about 140 people, highly respected public school)</p>
<p>ECs: Model UN (secretariat), Academic Challenge (president last year, captain of A team, best small nationally two of my years), Student-Board liaison alternate, youth representative to my town's Youth Council, Classics Club (treasurer), Technology club (treasurer), Habitat for Humanity, NHS</p>
<p>Awards: French laureate award 2x, Latin silver medal 2x, gold 1x, Junior history department book award, winner of essay contest from government if Azerbaijan, NSLIY language scholarship semi finalist</p>
<p>Community service: taught a stop-motion animation class to community center kids, about 200 hours at my school library, service trips to Vietnam and Ghana, some tutoring with NHS</p>
<p>Work Experience: Worked in my dad's office for a couple days, babysitting, tutoring, 2-week internship with a UN affiliated organization. </p>
<p>Summer activities: Travel to Europe, Burma, Vietnam, Ghana. Official tour given by Government of Azerbaijan with university students from around the world for essay competition winners, studied Arabic for 3 weeks in Fez, Morocco.</p>
