Chance me for international transfer (theater arts) to UBC?

I’m getting ready to make my list of schools to transfer to (for theater arts/ acting, specifically) in the Fall of 2017, and I am hoping to add UBC to that list. I recently visited Vancouver for an event, and fell head- over- heels with both the weather (what? I REALLY like rain), and the campus!

I am a community college student from California, I have a 4.0 gpa (straight A’s and on the dean’s list) though not as many credits as I should have by now (I almost died at the beginning of the semester, and unfortunately had to drop out of a lot of classes while recovering-- a surprise food allergy made my kidneys start to shut down). But I’m still doing really well in college (much better than high school!).

I am involved in my school’s QSA and served as secretary for a semester, I have a- very- small business, where I sell art and flavored teas. I’m working on a series of young adult fantasy novels, I started a recreational Quidditch league in my area, I make videos and some music, I designed and sold charity t- shirts and raised almost $1000 in two weeks, I have a TON of scouting awards, and I’ve been doing a decent amount of work as a movie extra to teach myself set etiquette and make some money.

I don’t know what kind of candidate this makes me, but I’m hoping a decent one. Vancouver became like a second home on that trip, so I’d really love to be able to spend my last couple years in University there!

Thanks!
