chance me for iowa!

im an out of state hs student willing to pay full tuition
i took a lot of AP classes but too bad the app wont let me mention that ):
my RAI score is a 280 so its at the 255+ requirement for a science bio major
but....my gpa sucks, i have a 3.31 weighted out of 4 :/
and i got a 760 on my math sat and 660 on cr
and a 690 on my bio sat
ive taken 22 credits worth of core classes
and my ranking is top 60%
these stats are weak and i dont get to add much of my ECs either.
i got PSAT semi-finalist though for national merit..do you think that would boost my app a bit?
I already applied and hopefully i get a reply soon..i just want some opinions on my chances so i dont get my hopes up

The RAI is the deciding factor in Iowa - it considers GPA, class rank, # core classes and ACT/SAT score. If you meet the minimum for OOS (it is usually higher than IS), you should be fine. AP’s will help with credits once you are admitted - they should be in your records so that when you go to orientation, they may fulfill requirements. NMSF isn’t considered that I am aware. Get your application in ASAP.

You’re in. RAI is the only deciding factor for admission to the U or I.
